March 22, 2008 THE DAY AFTER PDL

John 20:26-27:A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "peace be with you!" Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my hands, Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe."

In the church, there will always be doubters of the work of God like Thomas.

We have seen people's lives being transformed, youth giving powerful testimonies  preceding their baptism and souls being saved during these 40 days of Purpose Driven Spiritual Campaign. Yet some may still question the value of PDL or whether people's testimonies are true or not. These people have not really experienced the power of the Risen Lord in their lives.

But there is hope for them just as Thomas had. Later Jesus specially came to show Thomas his hands and side in the midst of the Christian gathering to prove that His resurrection was real.

They need to come to our church to see the hands of Jesus' Body that were once in pain but are now serving God happily. They need to come and worship with those in the Body of Christ who were once broken hearted but are now rejoicing in His miracle.

Do you still have doubt concerning Jesus' transforming power? You need to get rid of those doubts. It is all in your attitude.
